Why isn't there a Chrome Web Store link?

The Chrome Web Store stopped accepting YouTube-downloader extensions in 2025 and pulled the existing ones. Firefox, Edge, and direct install are unaffected. The extension code is the same across all three — only the distribution channel differs.

Chrome users have two options: sideload the zip directly (60-second manual install, shows a developer-mode warning on every startup), or install our Tampermonkey userscript once it's published.
